When Chase UR first entered the market they had no transfer bonuses and AMEX MR had frequent ones. It seems like in recent years the reality has switched. I used to think AMEX MR were worth more than Chase UR points because they had frequent transfer bonuses…but now it is like the opposite. In addition to Chase adding some good partners (like Air Canada) it seems like the UR points are much more worthwhile because you can depends on a reasonably frequent bonus. Dissapointing on the AMEX side!
