to add another datapoint, I just PCed a CSR to the OG Freedom a few days ago. Amusingly the card graphic changed immediately in the app, though the label still reflected the old product. Similar to 4 years ago, the Dashpass cancellation email came almost instantaneously. I got an error message trying to activate the bonus category, but then found this previous report:
