Were you flying in 2010? Because clearly they do not. The preferred seats screens do look undersized from images, but the remainder are perfectly fine and look great. As does the entire cabin and greater attention to detail.

Yes and the screens looked like that size almost, in ALL cabins. Maybe not AA, DL, or UA but EU carriers that I flew with such as BA had screens like that, that were similar.
