Someone in this thread or another said a lot of award and upgrade seats to Europe seemed to open up recently. Most of August had PHL-LHR redemptions on AA in J for 70K and 55K on Alaska. I also saw a lot of C inventory for upgrades. So I grabbed 2 J seats for 55K x 2 using AS points on a PHL-LHR trip on a 789P and we got front row. Wife will take window and I'll take aisle next to her, which is actually row 2, but first row of J for the middle seats.
