EK F is not the same travel class as BA F, however they happen to be labelled. Can’t really blame EK for not being interested in striking a reciprocal agreement to rebook passengers in BA F if a flight is cancelled - will literally cause more complaints than forcing them to fly EK F the following day.
Firtst Class is First Class - that the quality of the product may be much higher (imo) on EK, it does not take away that it is still 1st class.
There is no need for a reciprocated agreemet with BA - to start with, EK would likely not need it goven that it operates multiple flights a day from London to Dubai
