Will the regular J monitor sizes (assuming they're 17.5 inches as well) be fine? Yes. Polaris 2.0 will be at 19". A whopping 1.5" larger. A travesty. That's not going to make or break flagship suites competitiveness vs. Polaris 2.0.
If we're going to compare minute details, we should compare them all, not just nitpick the only minor flaw that exists from the images we've seen so far. If there is no United globe etched into the seat next to the charging pad that subtly glows in these new suites, are they suddenly making little effort and doing the minimum?
When AA manages to have customer scores and make money like the competition, we can debate the minutia.
Until then, the fact that AA can't command yield premiums due to decisions like above are important.
"Will be fine" isnt a money winning formula for a 50+ J aircraft.
