Flew to MRS over Easter weekend as a lowly Blue. At T-24, I checked in and was surprised to be auto-assigned 1A, with my companion in 1C. On the return, I forgot to check in early - same result: 1A and 1C. Even more curious, the crew were remarking on the number of high-status pax onboard. Either the system’s behaving oddly, or it’s quietly deprioritised Gold blocking in CE.
