After t-72 it would be theoretical seatung

If a gold is in 1A then another gold could pick 1C

A silver bronze or non status might be able to select 1C depending how full the cabin is.

As a silver, on non status heavy routes, I have often been able to select row 1 after T-72.

More info about Theoretical seating in this thread. As I mentioned above, this is different from the row 1 blocking on SH which is in effect till T-72.
