Thanks for the quick response. The uncertainty before booking about the tier points you will earn makes sticking with BAC a risky proposition. Looks like it's time to start moving my proverbial eggs to another FF basket. I fly back and forth to the UK a lot, but mostly on First/Club award tickets with one or two big paid trips from the west coast that had previously qualified me for gold. I'm probably the customer they don't mind getting rid of. A lot of my spend is on award flight fees (up to $10k some years), but those don't count toward status. I get most of what I need via the First/Club award seats, but I will miss a few of the gold perks as well as the emerald lounge access for my US flights on Alaska and AA.
