On our next layover, I'd ratther stay at one of the several hotels attached to Terminal 1.
On the other side of the park, no more than a 5 min walk from the HP, there is a large Rewe supermarket, a bakery (selling sandwiches and such), and an Italian restaurant. Some of the other hotels in the area open their restaurants to non-guests as well. You can also do Uber Eats and Lieferando (German Just Eat). Not that many restaurants delivering to the HP, but some do.

The Steigenerger (which is perhaps an 8-10 min walk) has a somewhat more upscale restaurant called Unterschweinstiege which isn't bad and serves, among other things, German specialities.
