My friend recently booked a LHR <> GVA flight in Club Europe and was auto assigned seat 1A on both directions at ticket purchase. The thing is that he is Bronze status. Which leads me to my question, has the Gold status benefit of being able to select Row 1 on Short Haul been "enhanced" ?
