I remember that thread well. The solution for the OP in that thread was to reverse his weekly flights so they originated in MCO (a Saturday night stay requirement was also at play here)..
My guess is that the reasoning is to hose their hub captive business travelers, while still offering low fares to families traveling to Florida.
