Having flown The Room two years ago and Staggered J back to back on connecting flights, I actually like both seats. Yes, The Room is spectacular on first impression, and overall I think it's pretty great. Sleeping diagonally was generally fine. But in my case, they provided thicker mattress pads but the pads were still the rectangular ones shaped to fit Staggered and not The Room. I know there's a thin white one that fits The Room that is sometimes given out, but not in my case.

When The Room FX comes out, and if it is better aligned with The Room (777), then perhaps they will also better align some of the soft product elements.
