Have you considered status matching to Alaska? If you don't have status with Southwest, you could status match from AA to WN (since you're abandoning them soon anyway) to AS
I have; my personal challenge is my flying may not be enough for legit every-year AS status — but I have AA Life Gold. I’d still rather accrue AS miles, since I also now avoid AA unless necessary.
