I believe all meals departing the U.S., Europe, Australia/New Zealand, and some Asian destinations (?) are frozen products that were manufactured at a central location and shipped to the catering facility at the departure airport.
You can usually tell when a meal is fresh (or not prepared at a central location) - the hot entree dish will usually be loosely wrapped in aluminum foil (by an actual human) rather than sealed with cellophane.

This looks very nice for a domestic Y meal! It would be nice if they added pre-arrival light snack service on these segments.
