For anyone keeping track, I was offered US$1140 for Y to J and $592 for Y to Y+ for LAX-CDG. This was on a Virgin Atlantic economy award for 15K miles + $150.

Never upgraded before, and last time I flew Air France was over 10 years ago.

EDIT: Flight was cancelled. Got moved to LAX-SFO-CDG. No offer for Y to Y+, but Y to J was $1016.
