Wouldn't the real solution be making taxis and ride shares competitively and comparably priced to other countries instead of sentencing people to public transport? The constant reductions in living standards that people in Scandinavia are willing to put up with keeps baffling me.
For many reasons we need as many as possible to take public transport. For one, infrastructure can't handle if more take cars, taxi/Ubers etc.
