FA spent the rest of the time in the galley. With the exception of a trip to chat with the FAs in the back. He returned to the galley and stayed put. Not a single water pass. No second beverage service. No snack basket. He did not enter the cabin again until the captain told them to prepare the cabin for landing. One of the worst FAs I’ve experienced in a long time. Thankfully I had ordered the “safe bet” (short rib). Which, as usual, was reliable. And heated through. I hate to think of the glare or eye rolls I would’ve gotten if I’d had to ask for more oven time for it.
Unfortunately I have had more poor service on Delta flights just like you described than good service. I miss how good Delta use to be, Hopefully service gets consistently better than the hit or miss like it is now.
