IMHO Delta could order the A338 as they tend to fly their aircraft into retirement, so it’s a perfect replacement for the B763ERs, and they wouldn’t need to worry about resale value. Airbus would undoubtedly give them a killer deal for an order of 25-30. Unlikely to happen but it’s not a bad idea if the numbers work out.
