Delta is not alone in filing these. AA and UA have also been filing these on numerous routes over the last couple months.
AA filed them on a bunch of routes out of CLT back in March (which DL is matching) -- https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/36946452-post169.html
For DL fares, accompanied travel fares can be readily identified by a '9' in second position of fare basis code. Fares with roundtrip booking requirements will have an 'F' there, and one-way fares will have an 'A'.
