To the OP do double check your EasyJet flight leaves from North. A small number of EasyJet flights operate from South (currently flight numbers 6300 - 6599).

The transit train is fairly efficient but wait can be up to 5 mins. EasyJet have a large self drop facility at North which I always find very efficient.

If you are up against it time wise remember that EasyJet gates close 30 mins before departure and some of the gates at North are a long walk from security (the ones over the bridge), so you will need to keep moving quickly from bag drop.
