As an update, I am at CDG at T1 about to depart for New York, and the airtag showed up this morning at the B gates at DUS (rather than the check-in hall before), and now the airtag shows at...CDG T2E, my guess is to board one of the evening AF flights to New York. Had I called DUS lost & found a day earlier, they probably could have gotten the bag to me in Paris. Meanwhile, EI Central Bag Tracing still hasn't managed to connect with DUS airport, they're probably still looking for my bag in Dublin...
