Queues for business/ silver check-in this morning were way past the gold/ white curved wall. Looking for the gold check-in the BA agent just pointed to this queue. If you veer to the left of the curved wall and walk straight, you can join a very small line for the gold check in, (still marked first, even though there are no first class flights from Gatwick).
