I'm flying SIN HKG HEL on a mixed CX+AY itinerary (booked via CX). Just genuinely curious what happens if a strike happens on the day I'm supposed to fly e.g. the HKG-HEL route. Do we usually get rebooked on other carriers if such a thing happen?

I've read from this thread that the rebooking might also be on competing carriers - or is that really dependent on the situation on the day of flight itself?
