Was the sign just for the AC or also for the FL? I ask because the ACs regularly have these signs. AA is pushing these FL passes as a way to “enhance” the journey via reward choice redemptions / miles so I’d be a bit frustrated to have selected this benefit to not have the opportunity to use it given the cost of the redemptions relative to the ACs.
The sign at the bottom of the elevators is the generic “this lounge is not selling/accepting day passes” sign - didn’t really delineate between AC vs. FL unfortunately. Guessing you could contact Club Services to see if they can clarify.
