the new seat really cant come soon enough. other then emirates, don't think any other major carrier has such an outdated business class cabin for the majority of their long haul fleet.
the "old" seats in the A330 and 777 only lack privacy and direct aisle access. the seat itself is much more comfortable than the new seats with coffin area for your feet. the seat almost spans four windows (the space that Air France has for its current La Premiere seat). If you travel with a companion having two seats at the window is a bonus as well. compared to the "old" LH business class seat it is very much superior.
