So much beauty everywhere. I opted to skip Akahista as it is more or less identical to Schull, and with 260 km and 5 1/2 hours driving already on the route as planned, I was running out of steam so the Sheep's Head bit got left off. I always like to leave a place not having seen it all or wanting to do more. Ireland qualifies for that description in spades. I rather suspect that I will be back, and with this advice I'll be sure to make that part of it. Thank you.
Totally understand, we have been slowly driving sections (not in order) of the Wild Atlantic Way each time we visit, last year was the coastline of Mayo, next will be Donegal.
