The rest is spot on, though I never noticed peeling wallpaper, and (to nit-pick) the Quill mall is closer than either Sunway or even Sogo. Maybe worth mentioning that Chow Kit monorail station is handy, and Dang Wangi LRT is walkable at a push (if you can find the unmarked back-door entrance).

The south version of the hotels has a popular roof-top pool and bar, which can drive decisions between the two either way!

A particular feature is that although the two hotels are adjacent, they operate independently and so shuttling between the two gets insanely popular when there's a points bonus on stays.
