The age of the aircraft doesn’t matter. In fact many of BA’s older 777s have the new Club Suite cabin, whereas all of the much newer 789s have the old cabin.
The important thing is what type of configuration BA is running on the route and date in question. And for LGW it’s highly likely to be the old club World because those are the aircraft allocated to LGW.
