I just found out that advisor is no longer there, so we dodged a bullet.
For the first few years they really need to build their book before they stop getting a salary. Seems like many will promise you the world to get you to sign on - whether they can provide it or not.
What were you asking for that he promisd but you knew he could not deliver. Bit confusing.
