Thanks, the calculator page was not very obvious.. even though with the AnyFlight, I was not sure if it covers Basic Economy - as on the page before payment on UA, at the bottom, when I selected *G, I was shown 40 USD from 1st check in bag.

[this is why I don't like StarAlliance due to all this different rules with different airlines - Oneworld seems to be much more aligned with regards to this]
