I have a flight booked in about 2 weeks IAH-LHR in J (BA194). Ever since I booked and selected seats, it has been listed as a 787-9 and shown the old club world layout. However, other sources have indicated that this route is now served by Club suites, and for at least the last 7 days it appears to be operated by a 787-10 with the new product (https://planefinder.net/data/flight/BA194).

Any idea of when the equipment will be finalized? If it does switch to the new product, will I be automatically reseated together with the other person on my reservation most likely?

I'm actually not totally sure which hard product I'd prefer, since there rear facing old Club World seats are going away and it's a pretty unique product, but the new seats look to be a pretty serious improvement. Mainly I'd prefer to be in a different part of the cabin than my current seats (13 J and K, close to the bassinets in PE and among the last to have orders taken I imagine). Additionally, I am 6'4" and the lack of an enclosed footwell has some appeal to me.
