I paid the STPC fee over the phone for a QR PC F Award Ticket (~20 hour layover), and was told I would receive a room in the Oryx Garden Hotel, however several hours later I was issued a room at a hotel downtown. Is there any known leeway in changing to the Oryx Garden (and if so, should I do so now or ask upon arrival in DOH, or should I book the older Oryx out of pocket and just eat the STPC fee.
