It's so ridiculous how different the interaction with the EI central baggage team was vs DUS airport. With EI, I have had probably a dozen+ calls, 3 misidentified bags (including one sent to me), multiple Airtag links sent via email + submitted online, with seemingly no progress on EI's end. DUS airport on the other hand "your reference number? your name? your airport? Ok email the screenshot of the airtag to the following email" over an 8 minute call, and voila, 2 hours later "sir, we have your bag, would you like it sent to your Paris address or your US address? neither, you have another hotel you are staying at in between? Ok, whatsapp this number that hotel's address"
