In the US, specifically Virginia for certain (IAD), it is illegal to have self-serve alcohol even though in distant years I have seen this violated like at the old NW club that SAS used (they had a self-serve beer tap) and the old United F lounge. Also most domestic lounges only had alcohol for sale in the old days. I think Delta was an exception actually at least at JFK ca. 2002, I was surprised that I could get free cocktails.
I was looking at booking Plus tickets this summer for the family because Plus is very cheap on my preferred travel dates but business is not as cheap as previous summers. (I will try for upgrades but you never know.) So is it possible to purchase access to the CPH SAS lounge if you are in Plus? Are there any other lounges these days on the non-Schengen side where you can buy entry?
To clarify, Plus still gets lounge access intra-Europe until when? I guess that it goes away on October 1.
p.s. I haven't been to a SAS business lounge in ages. Last time was in the 2000s in OSL because the gold lounge was closed on that day (weekend). I remember that they had wine on tap. I thought it was Norway only because they drink so much.

But maybe that is a network wide "benefit"?
