But, with 6 long-haul round trips, plus occasional European/Asian trips, those two from above could easily add up. If you can hit Platinum, there's also the PSL, which can be a big positive when you travel that much. For me, for many years, that was a big reason to push for Platinum qualification.
Good point regarding the checked bags. I looked and was quite surprised to see that checked bags on these flights are actually quite expensive - 50-60€ each way. I'm used to paying about $40 or getting it free with credit card/status perks. I would still get the free bag if I take Air Canada even after moving

Do you find that the Economy Comfort seats are a significant upgrade?
