We spent two days here. It did not start well. We took Uber from the train station. We were dropped off outside the Old Town, several blocks from the hotel. I had a lot of concern as to how our stay would go, especially with an early train on our departure day. But we figured out that the Old Town was blocked off only that day, at least that entrance, as there was a festival. After that, we were able to get Uber to drop off and pick us up quite close to the hotel.
I had used chat the day before our arrival and asked for a room with a sofa. They committed to it, which made our room comfortable. The balcony didn't matter, there really was no view from it. We were given a coupon that is given to gold and diamonds for 2 free snacks from their tiny market.
There is a side entrance to the hotel that is perfect for heading out into the old town. It is across from the cathedral. It is also immediately across from the Piwna47 restaurant which I highly recommend. It was one of the better meals we had in Poland
This was the third Polish city where we enjoyed an e-tour. It didn't pick up at the hotel but it was just a 3 minute walk to the city information office where we found it. We paid $100 for a 2 hour tour of the city. It gave us an excellent overview of the city.
