In the middle of a stay. Has been excellent. As a lowly Gold, proactively upgraded to partial bay view room on the 2nd highest room. The view is lovely and has us glued to the windows - we almost don't want to leave the room (it's frigid outside, in true SF style; feels like Alaska). Not much interaction with staff but no one has been rude so far.

Room is renovated and well thought-out. Lovely public spaces. Excellent location, short walk to Ferry Building, Embarcadero station, Chinatown, North Beach, etc. The area around the hotel (Financial District) is extremely clean, new, and deserted on the weekend, feels completely different (in a good way) than the other side of downtown (Union Square).
