I will just recap the coach-less travel.

• HEX was waiting on the platform and departed within minutes of my boarding. It did its job and I was quickly in Paddington.
• The tube was a mess so I hopped on the 205 bus for the dozen stops to Euston
• I had almost an hour to wait for the train so enjoyed a BK breakfast and a coffee
• The train was on time and it was 90+ minutes to Birmingham international
• Uber to the hotel by 12:45 where they chased down a freshly cleaned room for me
• Nose dived into the pillow by 1pm and instantly asleep. I have recently awoken 4 1/2 hours later.

Although I’m not in the city this week we will be going out for dinner so there’ll likely be a Birmingham Bites update from somewhere nice on Wednesday
