I saw that yesterday as well. And was sorely tempted, had any Award flights been available. But the standard rooms are just so dismal looking in the pictures, without any water view (or appreciable views at all). It's hard for me to wrap my head around spending points on, even for a relatively good points deal.
Has anyone stayed recently in a standard room at Hilton Moorea? How was it?
We stayed there for 2 nights in October 2023. The room was nice, although we were out for an excursion during the full day we were there and between that and the large pool, we never used our smaller pool. I'm only 5'2" and it was a bit too deep for me to stand comfortably in it. The rooms are decent size and the bathroom is big, but they are a bit outdated. It would not stop me from going there in the future though.
