One could say much the same for curry, or for garlic for that matter. Personally I have no problem with it, but my Goddaughter cannot abide the stuff. I thought that Coriander was the seed and Cilantro was the leaf/ I use it in no dishes at all.
The poster is referring to the condition in which a percentage of the population has a genetic variation which renders the taste of coriander as ‘repulsive’, and is questioning the wisdom of BA including it in their airline meals. As far as I know, there is no similar condition affecting curry or garlic.
