EI will reimburse for essential things like clothes, toiletries etc.

I had a bag lost DUB - CDG, only spent a day in Paris before heading to Nepal. I updated the address to my address in Nepal and was very surprised to get a call a few days later saying it was in Kathmandu airport for me to collect.
