There is usually a time delay before services resume when aircraft transfer to Gatwick. We shall have to wait and see.
Although the Boeing hangar has now been taken over by BA I am not sure if the maintenance base is fully up and running for A320 work. I think the plan is to have A320 maintenance up and running by winter 2025/2026. Indeed recently G-GATN went from LGW to LHR for maintenance.
As I said above the BAEF fleet will need more aircraft transfers from mainline in the coming weeks/ months when one of the Titan leases ends and scheduled aircraft retirements take place.
