I use different strategies.

1. If free cancellation, no prepayment, I book. I have booked some hotels already for 2026.

2. I compare the rate calendar in the app. Then, decide. Is the present rate likely to go up or down and how much is the likely upside and downside compare to now? As an example, booked a 5 nights stay in October, a room which in some dates cost euro300, I booked for euro 40. The downside is limited, the upside potentially very high.

3. In general Accor run promotions for most hotels. I would most often like to wait for them, then book. As an example, you can be fairly certain there are promos in late October/November.
