It's only a code number. It does not imply a priority between the different codes. For every status there is now a number associated to it and somewhere in the database there is a set of advantages of priority related to this code number.
What is interesting is that they now differentiate all statuses which mean that in the future the advantages of Plat and PFL could be different.
