I’m onboard tonight - found out the aircraft change took place and used 2 vouchers to go Y to J.
got moved at the gate to an in-op seat. Doesn’t recline at all - 3B in case anyone has this booked in the next few days. Choices were this or a middle seat in Y.
Looks like I’ll be sitting upright for the flight. First impressions - screen is HUGE, footwell is pretty spacious (I’m 6’7). Headphones are still the same as before though Bluetooth is now available. Sitting upright I can definitely still make plenty of eye contact. Shoulder belt isn’t very comfortable but it’s only needed during taxi, takeoff and landing and can be un clicked.
I was sitting in front of you until someone else arrived with the same seat allocation as me.. bit of a shambles. Understand there is another broken/non functioning seat in addition to yours.
The tray tables when stowed are not overly secure, so there seemed to be an excessive amount of shuddering in the cabin during take-off roll.
No love out of the wireless charging, but so far a pleasing experience. Concur with the massive screen, my Bluetooth headphones paired seamlessly.
