We will be travelling to Vietnam and Thailand in October 2026. I think that I will book the flights as soon as available, most probably by October/Nov this year.

But as for hotels, I used to book asap believing that the sooner the better but then I realized that prices could occasionally drop.

By experience, when would you recommend me to book ? X months before stay date or wait for a promotion/sales for the concerned period ?

For Europe i will usually book 9-10 months in advance then prices keep rising despite promotions.
