I was on DL 264 last Friday May 16th. JFK-CDG. original 10:20pm departure. Delayed to 12:30am and then soon after cancelled. edit to add. Maintenance delay. Delta agents and email confirmed maintenance and operational issues. No weather.
Rescheduled as DL 9904 next day May 17th departing at 4:45pm. Delta offered $8 meal vouchers. lol. No joke.
Every help desk line had 10’s of people with one overrun agent at JFK. No red coats. phone line 1 hour wait for PM. we chose to skip that BS and take a taxi back to the UWS. WHAT A MESS.
yes I’ll get all the expenses including meals reimbursed by Delta. Fine.
We missed 1 important day of a trip and goofing up the whole flow of our week. And I expect more. Is a $300 travel credit a reasonable ask? PM 1MM flyer here. Comfort+ booked using miles.
