I never had issues with awards points when they were part of Star Alliance. Also, during that time the gold service had a much higher standard.
All the underwhelming customer service and points issues I’ve experienced have been since the recent change to Skyteam.
The baffling part is that the phone agents are quick to confirm their automated system has issues with awarding correct point values- which indicates they are well aware of the IT issue internally, yet do not seem interested in correcting it.
