I’m trying to book a flight from CLT to TPE, via Tokyo, on 11/16. I need an afternoon departure. When I travel from CLT to HND, I have an option of booking a 6:35 PM departure from CLT connecting to the mid-night departure from LAX to HND. This gives me a couple of hours layover at LAX. When trying to book CLT-HND-TPE, the only options to connect to the midnight flight from LAX to HND departs CLT at 8:35 PM. This option only gives a 47 minutes connection which isn’t a gamble I’m willing to take. I’ve tried booking the CLT-LAX as the first flight, and then LAX to TPE, via HND, as the 2nd flight booking but that didn’t work. Does anyone know a way around this? Thank you!
